Dr. Samuel Benveniste Lower Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon
MBBS, B Med Sci (Hons), FRACS, FAOrthA

Dr Benveniste is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in lower limb surgery, particularly hip and knee replacement (primary & revision) utilising robotic assisted techniques, sports knee injuries and orthopaedic trauma and fracture care.

He consults and operates at the Calvary Adelaide Hospital and is a staff specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Dr Benveniste has extensive local and international experience including a clinical fellowship at St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada, where he trained in a variety of techniques including the mini-posterior and direct anterior hip approaches.

He has completed a Surgical Leadership Program with Harvard University and is currently a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Adelaide.

Dr Benveniste is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army Reserve and is currently the Commanding Officer of the 10th/27th Battalion, The Royal South Australia Regiment.
