Dr. Mark RickmanLower Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon
MBChB, MD, FRCS(Tr&Orth), FRACS

A/Professor Mark Rickman is a UK and Australian fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery, as well as complex and pelvic trauma.

He has a strong focus on joint preservation surgery, including arthroscopic surgery of both the hip and knee. For more damaged joints he is an advocate of personalised solutions for joint replacement, and routinely employs minimally invasive joint replacement techniques such as partial knee replacement surgery and direct anterior approach mini-hip replacements where possible.

Mark has extensive experience with techniques such as robotic surgery, patient specific technology and navigation, and plans surgical solutions around individual patient specific issues. His belief is that every patient is different, and to get the best individual result takes time and planning for an individual solution.

He consults at the Calvary Adelaide Hospital, as well as in peripheral clinics at Kings Park, Calvary Central Districts Hospital, Western Community Hospital and Mildura Private Hospital.
