Dr Mooney is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip, knee and shoulder key hole reconstruction or arthritis care. He enjoys helping patients improve their quality of life through treatments of bone and joint disease and injury. Utilising minimally invasive, robotic-assisted techniques Dr Mooney's primary goal is to provide pain relief and improve joint function for his patients.

Completing his medical education at the University of Adelaide and advanced Orthopaedic Surgical training he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2016. He is trained locally, interstate in Perth, Western Australia, and overseas in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr Mooney sees patients in the Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic in Adelaide CBD, as well as in satelite clinics in Unley, Woodville and Tea Tree Gully. He visits Naracoorte and Mount Gambier and enjoys seeing and treating patients close to their home and supports.

Dr Mooney is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in joint replacement and arthroscopic joint preservation surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. He enjoys helping patients improve their quality of life through treatments of bone and joint disease and injury. His primary goal is to provide pain relief and improve joint function for his patients.

Completing his medical education at the University of Adelaide and advanced Orthopaedic Surgical training he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2016.

Through post-fellowship training in Adelaide, Perth and Canada, Luke has gained local and international experience in hip, knee and shoulder surgery including robotic assisted joint replacement, minimally invasive and arthroscopic joint preservation surgery.
