Overview

Dr Tu grew up in Adelaide and completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide, followed by orthopaedic training across major hospitals in South Australia and the Northern Territory. He began his consultant career at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and was later accepted into the prestigious Wrightington Upper Limb Fellowship in the United Kingdom. Although this opportunity was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it further shaped his commitment to excellence in upper limb care.

Since returning to Adelaide, Dr Tu has established a busy private practice caring for patients across metropolitan and regional South Australia. He is known for his thoughtful, measured approach and takes pride in providing clear, compassionate guidance at every step of the treatment journey.

Outside of medicine, Dr Tu enjoys spending time with his young family and pursuing a variety of creative, hands-on interests. He values balance, curiosity and the chance to keep learning, whether in the operating theatre, at home or on the move.
