2011 Tour Down Under/Challenge Tour

39 riders from Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic's 'Team Wakefield' completed the various distances on Friday 21 January 2011 in the Mutual Community Challenge Tour, ending in picturesque Strathalbyn.

The options included the 135km Norwood-Strathalbyn leg; 91km Gumeracha-Strathalbyn, 62km Balhanna to Strathalbyn and 35km Macclesfield-Strathalbyn rides. Most riders agreed that the conditions were enjoyable and cooler than previous years. Team Wakefield performed superbly and were treated to a relaxing post-race function at the Victoria Hotel, Strathalbyn.
