2012 Limbering Up Workshop
Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic in association with Calvary Wakefield Hospital Dr Jones and work cover and Partners and Pfizer Australia conducted a Limbering Up Workshop for GPs in August with 40 GPs from various regions attending .
This Workshop was supported by the Adelaide Northern Division of General Practice and was approved as a 40 Point Category 1 Activity with the RACGP.
The objectives of the Workshop were to:
- Post Surgery Care and Rehabilitation techniques
- Improve knowledge of the examination and assessment of joint injuries both upper and lower limbs
- Improve GPs skills in the technique of strapping
- Increase understanding in the role of medical imaging in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal problems
- Fracture Management
